Rightwing,
How naive are you? the midgaan community held a protest in Burco as is their right, they protested peacefully and they were not treated badly by the police or other citizens. They are making themselves heard within somaliland and demanding their rights. Even though I believe they are in a better position in Somaliland than any other somali area.
The protest in London was conceived by people with a different agenda, most of them could care less about the people they claim to be protesting for.
P.S did I see a banner with "genocide" and "ethnic cleansing" what a blatant lie

Senorita
It is interesting the way they compared Somaliland to to CHINA by seeing such event in 10 Downing Street "Free tibet". Midgaans are teaching us how to be civilized by showing new way of conveying messages in civilized ways.

I fully respect and support their cause. Somalis generally are both arrogant and ignorant, worse combination of characteristics.
Since the larger qabils think the have more rights in somalia, shouldnt they then take responsibility for the shithole that is somalia today?
To be perfectly honest somalis dont even deserve a nation and nationhood, for focksakes look at how minorities are treated when the country is focked, imagine how they would be treated when the country improves.
the worst thing that can happened to human being is to be born a minority in somalia, it is nothing short of hell on earth to live amongst the most ignorant and backward people on the face of the planet.
Could not of said it better lol.

Just seen the video. Maryan mursal makes a great point. Minorities like all somalis flee to the west, get free housing, health care and social help, all on the grounds of human rights, whilst they cant even get respect in their own home land. disgraceful.

I just looked up several websites checking for an article on this incident and not much is being written about this. So what exactly happened in Caynabo and why were two Somali females stripped naked and then taken to prison after being beaten? What have they done to deserve a humiliation of that magnitude and why were there no one to stop this from happening?

I think you are wrong in assuming those people are from the South. While they may not agree with your idea of cutting up Somalia and creating new countries from it, they certainly would not take a day off from work to protest it especially in situations like this. You have to admit to yourself, now or later, that 100% of the people who demonstrate against Somaliland are from within its
claimed borders.

Insha Allah these fellow Somalis will get their rights in all of Somali and all of Somali inhabited regions. The unjustice has been going far too long and it is time we dig deep down in our hearts and do justice to these fellow Muslims and fellow Somalis.
PS: Midgaan is a tribal slur and should not be used. They have real tribal names like
Gabooye, Madhibaan, Muusa Dheriyo, Hawle, and Kuul. The Yibir communities call themselves Anaas and I think we should use the name that they are comfortable. Someone should provide us the real name of the Tumaal communities since Tumaal is a profession name and Somalis later on adapted it as a tribal slur also.
