Puntland should face them frontally whereas Cabudwaaq joins in and fights them from the flanks. The only problem is that Galkacyo is in the north of Cabudwaaq, so puntland has to come to galmudug territory. With good strategy alshabaab would be defeated

Caabudwaaq is the headquarters of Ahlu Sunnah. It is where the gudoomiye and the others are. Why would Shabaab move north before taking Caabudwaaq. This guys will consolidate control over all of Galgaduud before they ever more to Gaalkacyo.

Hiiraan doesn't update fast enough. First Shabaab came and took, then Ahlu Sunnah retook, and finally Shabaab did a second counter-attack and took Dhusa-Mareb. Dayniile has updated fast to the third rogaal celis but Hiiraan hasn't.

Caabudwaaq is the headquarters of Ahlu Sunnah. It is where the gudoomiye and the others are. Why would Shabaab move north before taking Caabudwaaq. This guys will consolidate control over all of Galgaduud before they ever more to Gaalkacyo.

If Puntland army descends at the height of caabudwaaq then shabaab would face two fronts and alshabaab never fights from two fronts. Ditch the ceyr and seek help from Puntland
