I have read a lot on usury. Most of us think Riba only refers to just interest, there are many types of riba, interest being one of them and paying extra due to devaluation of currency being another form of Riba and so on. Its amazing how transaction laws and economic polices are so detailed in Islam.

Study in Scotland there are no tuition fees there.

I swear student finance are pissing about with my money again and they have done this for the last two years. Last year I received my grant in january and the year before in november even though I applied long before term time for both years.
Generally speaking from what I heard, other western european countries have a far lower amount of tuition fee something like EU 1500, whilst in UK it's over £3grand

Tuiton fee is likely to increase to £7K-£9K per annum so for those gusy who are thinking of Gap year its up to you.
