To just inform you abt opportunities there, there are jobs in the medical, education, business, and telecommunications field. I have a relative who is an electronic engineer who moved there to work in the telecommunications company over there. Whatever you had in mind, whatever you can find in other major cities, you can find it in LA. Fyi, some of the teachers who teach the secondary and post secondary schools were recruited from Kenya and they are not clan-wise from there.There are many including medical, teaching, environmental, and and those that claim to support the poor.
