Islamists like them hate their people far more for not following them than they hate their enemies. Today, the U.S is the one hunting down bin laden but he probably hates King Abdullahi more than Bush.
BTW Godane is right now in Garbahareey with the Shabaab foreign minister guy as well as the chief of security Fiiloow (Marehan), supposedly they are planning the second largest Shabaab meeting ever happened in Somalia after the attack on Marka that killed Salah Nabhan. Hopefully the U.S is already planning to snuff them out.
