Not sure. Either way in hindsight, the war in Galbeed was unnecessary in My eyes Wallahi and was a huge mistake by MSB. The Gov really collapsed then. I support neighborly relations with Ethiopia, they stay in their border we stay in ours. They do not interfere with us, neither us with them. We are in the 21st Century

9.Garaad Makhtal Daahir------Greatest resistance fighter to face Ethiopia/Abbysinia in modern times.
Murax.
Siyad Barre totally miscalculated the War, the WSLF were in control of most of the Ogaden. He should have continued supporting them along with the Eritrean/Tigray rebels. Many members of the WSLF still point to this mistake the invasion was unneccessary,The WSLF were obliterating Mengistu either way.It should have remained an internal civil war in Ethiopia in the eyes of the International Community, the same image Eritrea gave and the same ONLF is doing today.

That's true, I don't blame him though the Somaliweyn euphoria was at an all time high and he probably felt an obligation to free it, the only thing I blame him for is attacking Dire Dawa and enroute to Addis Ababa he should've stopped at Jigjiga
