Syria have big Christians minority, that shows you Islam is very tolerant religion because Syria was ruled bye different Islamic caliphate all of them let Christians to live peace whit Muslims unlike today's wahhabis whit their intolerant form of Islam not only Christians even their fellow muslims will not scape wahhabi intolerance and hate.

all muslims today should go back true teaching of islam wichs living peace and love whit all other poeple and among eachother.

There 10million Coptic Christians in Egypt,Jews in Iranian parliament,jews live in Turkey,Tunisia all the way to Morocco. with These Osama bin laden worshipers.

funny thing about the christian population in bilad al sham..

Most people do not know that 500 years after the fatx of islam..by the time of the crusades Syria/Palestine/Lebanon and Jordan were 3/4 75% christian still.

less than 200 years it droped to less than half, how??

The stupid crusaders destroyed the eastern orthodox chuches and massacered allot of the clergy, becuase they were heretics..
The christian population ran away as refugees and lived with thier muslim nieghbours..

With a weakened church structure most of them converted to islam very quickly....
