Look, be realistic. The number of converts is miniscule to any religion. Islam is the fastest growing religion on earth because of the outrageous brith rates in Muslim countries. The same thing that propelled catholicism (Until people began to realize high birth rates mean lots of poverty and ignored the dumb ass pope) is now propelling Islam. And when Muslims get smart, they'll too realize that high birth rates hold you back.

Mad Mac, I don't think we're talking about birth rates here. We're talking about people converting into Islam. Big difference. Do you know why people convert into Islam? Because they realized what they've been missing out on. Qur'an tells the time phrase.

Almost no one converts from the faith they were born into. The percentage is below one percent. Why is that? First of all, most people don't seriously engage in critical thinking about religion. What would happen to you socially if you rejected Islam? Think about it. Now in the west, it's far more likely you can get away with making some sort of conversion. But still most people don't do it. And when they do it, they often do it so they can get married hastle free.

Islam is crap, and any truly thinking person can see that it is a backwards and intolerant faith. By 7th century standards it was enlightened. But this isn't the 7th century.

There is no need to insult one's religion is there? There aren't many people who convert from Islam on a daily base. Many born Christians convert into Islam. How do I know? Well, when I go to the Mosque, I see a new person converting almost each time I go there. It's obvious that people are realizing Islam. Not only in America that people are converting into Islam but Southern America as well.

People don't tend to leave Islam because:

a. Muslims don't think critically of religion. From birth they are taught there is only one true faith, all other cultures and religions are bad.
b. Muslims in many Islamic countries who leave the faith will face criminal prosecution. In some this includes the death penalty. In non-Islamic countries they will be ostracized.

Go home and tell your parents you're thinking of becoming a Bhuddist and see what kind of reaction you get.

Islam is crap, very few people are leaving the religions they are born into, and America is never going to become Islamic. At least not in our lifetimes.

Islam is the only true religion and if you don't believe me, ask those whom converted into Islam. These days, the number of Christians converting into Islam is high. Personaly speaking, I wouldn't convert into any other religion. Stop being so negative, we both know Islam is spreading fast all around the world, especially South America.
