Sudan is doing fine today. It manufactures weapons and arms.
Egypt should have trained Sudanese forces.

Then whatever these countries think they could do, they'd be facing an Egyptian/Sudanese alliance with Eritrea on the other side.

Now you have South Sudan, smh

Add al-Shabaab, they would be a formidable alliance. There's still, though, a chance to form such an alliance.

You must be joking! Egypt sided with Ethiopia during 1977 war against Somalia. Egypt hate us just like Libya hates us.

Actually Sudan would still support Egypt because if Uganda, Ethiopia, Southern Sudan use more of the water recourses it will affect Sudan too.

A secular government siding with a non-Muslim country against a Muslim country is normal. It happens. In history, I've never come across a Islamic government doing something like that.

There are no permanent friends or enemies in politics. But the sad part is, Somalia does not realize its own importance, the wealth and potential we have.If w did, we would never be seeking assistance or alliance, people would be asking us for that.

Its a pity really!

You must be very ignorant of history if you think Islamic governments haven't attacked or supported the attack of another Islamic government in the past. Islam is a religion, and while it does preach brotherhood amongst its adherents this isn't often taken seriously. Nations will always do what is best for them, and without regard to faith. 20 years Somalia has been engulfed in civil war and the Egyptians have only paid lip service to the cause of peace, along with the other Muslim nations. Why? Because they don't give a fuck if some black Africans slaughter each other.

Egypt will cease to exist as a nation in 20-30 years. East African nations are rising and Egypt can't catch up to their new power and influence. They squandered every opportunity they had.
