Lol Dirirdhabe is practically an oromo city nowadays. So many oromo immigrants to Hargeisa come from or stop over Dirirdhabe on their way over.

First of all this is Africa, practically everybody is poor. People were suffering poverty before the current regime took over so we cant blame that on Meles or the US. In fact peoples lives have been improving. Still there is oppression though but not at the level of the past regimes.

Issa does not want to war with Oromos because if they did it would it be the instinction of their clan! The only time they war with Oromos in dire dawa district is when Afars push them to certain streches of land that the Gurgura and Noole use.Other than tha nobody is looking for war in this area.

AFRICOM is a Curse!!! Their mission is not one of humanitarian and you know damn well. Their mission is to monitor and guard their national interests i.e combating what they deemed as terrorism as well as curbing the Chinese global expansion.

They have already under taken many covert missions in Somalia with their black Ops. They were the ones who killed dozen civilians and hundreds of cattles deep in S. Somalia' jungles in '07 also they killed Aden Ceyroow in Galgudud. They are very much involved in Somali affairs. They will not physically go into somalia but this is indirect way of keeping eye on things from not so distant nation. Djabouti has disapointed me for allowing this base. I suppose the few bucks and Humphy truck provided to them by the Americans went far.!

Siciid, I agree with your stance. In Ethiopia it seems like they are only interested in conducting operations in the Muslim lowlands, while not a giving a hoot about what happenes in the Christian highlands.
