Read properly Kenya is not trying to sieze Southern Somalia(Jubboyinka), Al-shabab is at Kenya's doorstep and with this Kenya fears they could infiltrate into kenya and create chaos in there territories. There is a planned effort from Kenya and the TFG to launch an offensive against Shabab in Jubboyinka, this will be conducted by TFG forces trained and armed by Kenya with the support of the International Community.Kenya does not have the capacity to attack Al-Shabab or occupy Somali territory for that matter, there very wary of the consequences.Kenya is supporting efforts to create a Jubbaland state under the Federal charter to stop the chaos from been exported to there Country nothing more and nothing less. There simply saving there own skin, it works for both Somalia and Kenya. There may be issues with Kenya regarding the Ocean borders but thats something the TFG federal Goverment and Kenya should solve via International agreements adjudicated by the International bodies, which I believe has been resolved in favour of Somalia.

yes i read somewhere Somalis from the NDF regions are being trained to invade Somali territory "Jubbaland" and thereby protecting Kenyan government from Somali intrusion with Alshabab, Kenya has for years stepping up its border patrol in NFD, a region that lacks paved road and Government investment.

NFD has been starved from any governmnet funded development for decades, this has made nfd a extremely poor and dangerous region and thus harder for Somalis to cross illegally or even legally. Kenya is now realises they the environment they created will not stop an invasion and thus they have been recruiting NFD population and using them as a wall against Alshabab or potentially a bullet to crush Alshabab.

i wonder why an NFD resident would want to support and defend such government that has been neglecting them for decades.
Kenya is supporting efforts to create a Jubbaland state
this is illegal and may very well back fire on Kenya, Jubbaland is a tribal region who have multible leaders in TFG, if such state were ever to be made it is very unlikely a Kenyan invasion would see to it.

Kenya has not recruited anyone from the NFD, instead the intiative was taken by officials and elders from Jubboyinka who recruited from the Waamo community largely. This has nothing to do with NFD, and clearly your facts on NFD are unfounded.Yes once NFD was largely neglected and marginalised due to the troubles which had occured after Independence and the incompetence of the NFD political representitives.Today Investment in the NFD has grown whether that is in schools or other basic infrastructure and NFD is among the most peaceful regions in the Horn of Africa, Infact Garissa was labelled the safest city in East and Central Africa. As for NFD representation in Kenyan politics they occupy the most senior of positions and could make a run for presidency soon.So no NFD is not as you paint it, dont smear without proof of your charges.NFD is the same region somalis have fled to and continue to flee to, they host the largest refugee camps in the world occupied largely by Somalis, so I dont understand you comment about this issue Kenya when there are troubles across the border would obviously have to close the border at times specially Shabab knocking at there door-step.

are you Kenyan ? why so quick to defend the nation wikileaks exposed.

NDF infrastructure is not medieval, it is non-existent. look at Somaliland for peacesake, NFD has been occupied by Kenya for decades and nothing has been done to develop the region other than sending military over there and harras the people from NFD accusing them of being illegal, the place is completely isolated from mainstream Kenya, thats a fact.

as a comparison look at Somaliland, 20 years and they have progressed so much it is unbelievable, they have largely been successfull by utilizing existing infrastructure constructed by the previous government but today they are doing their own thing building new factories, developing airports and roads.

Kenya is the 2nd or 3rd largest economy in Africa and NFD is worse of than an unrecognised area called somaliland. what does that tell you, war orad damac yeelo.
