can some1 explain what khawarij actually means? doesn't it mean traveler?

Khawarij came up during the period of prophet, if they didn't had comed during those period we wouldn't had known them. They fought against the prophet, calling themselves Muslims, they practised Islam and even said that Porphet Muhammad was not being strict enough. The khawarij act upon the deen very very very very much (action), however they don't do it according to the way and have no faham of the deen. They killed Muslims telling them that they did wrong for sins that are not major. The Prophet has ordered us to fight against Khaawrij.

Istagfiruallah. khawarij were not around when the Prophet was alive. Our nabi had divine knowledge from Allah. No one could tell he was wrong on religous matter.s

The khawarij came up in the first Muslim the civil war when Ali and Muawiya were fighting. They were on the side of Ali, but later disapproved of Ali when he made peace with Muawiyyah and killed Ali.

Yes, look at the source I gave you, a person came up to the prophet SCW and told him he was unjust. Do some proper research!!! The khawarij were around the prophet time!!! He rebelled against the Prophet (sallallaahualaihi wasallam) in the sense that accused him of treachery. ( He is counted amongst the Kafir and not as a companion( sahaba) of the prophet). He is considered the first of the Kharij (the Seceders" or "the Rebels )to arise in Islam. The root of his sickness was that he preferred his own opinion above that of the Prophet . If he had waited to hear what the Prophet had to say, he would have realized that no opinion can be given precedence over that of The Prophet (s) .

He went against the Command of Allah subhanhu wa tala.

Say, (O Muhammad, to mankind): If ye love Allah, follow me; Allah will love you and forgive you your sins. Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. ( Quran , 3: 31)

u actually know very little. U took one hadith, where someone made a mistake and now you're beating it to death.

If that man was a khawarij surely our nabi would have told us that these people are khawarij. He would have kicked them out. He would of waged war on them.

That one hadith doesn't even tell the whole story. After the saxaabi said those words, did the nabi call him a kaffir? Cause the explanation u gave called the saxaabi a kaffir.

Why is when the nabi talks about khawarij its always in a future tense?

Why shabab and khawarij are one?
Because they kill muslims without just. Make takfiir on the ummah(who ever is against them is "murtad"). Stone ppl unjustly.
They leave islam like an arrow.
