If people of Somaliland would have listened the advice of many southern Somali people they would have avoided the war of 1988 and have a country today, but their stubbornness kept them where they are today and they will never secede as long as they are trying to force people of Eastern Sanaag, Sool and parts of Togdheer, those people want to remain rest of Somalia and as much you are fighting for the rights of reer Hargeyso you should respect the rights of others that have different aspiration from yours.

If you are serious about this obsessed country called Somaliland, just like southern Sudan accept the UN to held free and fair referendum in every village and district of former British protectorate of Somalia, and those villages and districts that don’t want to be part of Somaliland let them go, make sure to Demarcate new border if possible cities like Ceerigaabo that have both sides of the border can have joint administration like Kashmir in Pakistan and India, then I am sure 100% of all Somalis will support your recognition.
