But anyway I'll stick to the topic.. I would simply tell him 'That isn't ganna happen.. I love my own space plus do I look Asian'..

Noble, no girl wants to live with her mother in-law or sister in-law, especially if it's not a very very very very temporary situation. Heck I wouldn't want to live with my brother's wife, it's like wth dude, get your own house. If you're old enough to get married, you're old enough to move into your own house.

Lakin truth be told the girl would have to be unprepared to the max for her to only think to ask after the whole soo doonasho. She must have been in a real hurry to get hitched and that is not a good place to start imo.

Your assuming the brother is me  . I wasnt referring to myself, just a brother I happen to know

To be honest I could not work in an Arab country atm. I can't picture myself having less rights than a citizen, so that option is out the window

lol british ppl will be on par with them or even higher

British what though? British somali or british cadaan? I'm far from anti Arab, but I have heard some horror stories of how under qualified, cadaan brits were paid massive sums of money, whilst a qualified ethnic brit was mistreated. Allahu calam though.

Kambuli, the idea behind the arrangement is to save money for a longer term plan.

I had this same debate with a sister. I felt girls were generally unrealistic in their expectations. They some how want an wadaad, who is rich, drives a nice car, from a great family and can afford a nice house. Highly unrealistic.
It's not unrealistic, a wadaad (used loosely to mean a guy who never went out clubbing/drinking etc) had more time and money to invest in wholesome pursuits, therefore the brother should be smarter, have saved more money and therefore be able to afford his own place when the time comes.

Seriously as a guy wouldn't you find sleeping with your wife in the room next door to your mother's uncomfortable in the least?

How is wanting your own space *flat* unrealistic? Unless he has to look after a sick parent there is no reason for him to still be living at home.

A standard car *Im not really bothered abt this I have my own vehicle*, a house *flat*, a job is a necessity!!

Wow you are so interested in what I say that you pick up on one extra thump down I added. I added it for emphasis to show my displeasure for someone to even think of this. I don't understand people who get married young or have children straight into marriage. Wait until you are financially stable then get married and don't have kids straight away like some typical Somalis...
