i dont know if i am right or wrong, but whenever i think about siyad barre, i think of a teacher in a class. the class is sitting tentatively, listening and grasping each lesson given, they take their notes, head home, have fun on the way. they like their teacher, he likes the students back in kind. i assume all this students have only this class, they are young and susciple, hence they can be mended and guided. the success of this teacher is measured on how these students turn up and what they become in the future. so our graduates are mooryaans, qashin, tuugo, unpatriotic, foodo, warlords, wordlords, wadaadlords, pirates, etc. so do we blame the teacher, or the students for the failures that ensued.

Somalis only hold Said Barre accountable. All the other government workers and ministers were regarded has heroes by their respective clans. A funny example is this minister from Baidabo. He was a minister from the beginning of the Kacaan untill the civil war. As soon as it broke out he ran to his hometown and said xoog ayaa nagula haayste, I couldn't say anything for the fear of my life through my career in govt. He was included in the subsequent fake govts that were formed
