if you was a hoe in the past why do you think your different now ? by the way, you should not be worried about marriage, instead think about the hell fire that you could be in when you die. :)

Nice one.. I'm ganna use that line from now on..

I remember a few years ago.. Some guy posted a topic on here and he basically said he was getting married to this girl and she told him about her past *how she slept with over 10 madow guys, & how she was beyond wild but she has been on the right path for a few years now etc etc* Anyway the guy said he respects her for being honest with him and he still wanted to marry her..

This shows that the truth will set us all free.. :|

Ibrahim - I'm not chatting about this sister.. I'm talking in general, If someone asks for forgiveness from our Lord and they are sincere & vow never to do it again.. Marka we as humans cant judge! The Almighty has forgiven them so why cant humans.. :|

gemini_snake wrote:oh shit! were you talking about yourself this whole time???

here are your options:
- marry a revert
- marry a muslim from another background
- marry a somali with an equally questionable past
- be honest with the man you want to marry.. if he accepts you and your past, then great. if not, go back to options 1,2, and/or 3.

when you are dishonest or untruthful, your potential hubby will send the FBI squad on you and trust me we will find out EVERYTHING there is to know about you.
No i wasn't talking about myself. But since my cousin is going through the same problem with his wife and kind of scared. What if it also happens to me as well? You said it yourself that no matter what you will find out and im being honest here sis, i havent been the best or well behaved somali girl in the world, i want to know what my options are and what i can do to protect myself.

- marry a revert , I will never marry anyone who isn't somali
- marry a muslim from another background- no i refuse to marry anyone other than a somali
- marry a somali with an equally questionable past- only after we get each other check for stds or other diseases
- be honest with the man you want to marry.. if he accepts you and your past, then great. if not, go back to options 1,2, and/or 3.- i will never do this because only idiots tell on themselves.

SomaliQueen, like Westie said , you shouldn't be seeking acceptance from anyone but the Most High. Lying to him means you are seeking acceptance ... You don't want him to know the real you . Even though your sins should be kept to yourself , if your potential husband asks about your past , he has a right to know . We are all humans ... We all make mistakes ..., we all stray from the straight path , but theres hope for us all ... Don't let anyone else tell u otherwise !!!
