The airport is located near the border between Puntland and Galmudug. Puntland doesn't control the Airport, SSC politicians use Galkacyo Airport, which means Galkacyo Airport is different than Bosaso and Garowe Airports which are controlled by Puntland.

SSC officials regularly visit South Galkacyo- Galmudug to meet their counterparts Galmudug officials. There is close cooperation between SSC and Galmudug in many fronts particularly military. SSC buys arms from Galmudug and other Somalis.

NO, it will not harm, opposite it can help, Galmudug has positive role to play, and opportunity to mediate between two Somali States (SSC State and Puntland). Already, Galmudug has excellent relationship with SSC State, and now Galmudug has formed an agreement with Puntland.

They used it in the past and they will continue to use Galkacyo Airport because they permission from Galmudug State authorities. SSC Defense Minister Col. Tamaad returned to Galkacyo after visit to Mogadishu and A meeting with TFG officials, so while he was in South Galkacyo he was kidnapped by Faroole's pirate militia. Few weeks ago the Defense Minister Col Tamaad used the same Galkacyo Airport without a problem. Presently, In South Galkacyo there is so many high ranking SSC officials for working visit.

Sorry, you talking about pirate controlled airports in Garowe and Bosaso. In this thread we talking about Galmudug owned Airport in Galkacyo. SSC Leadership were always welcome in Galmudug's Galkacyo Airport and Caabudwaaq Airport. People of SSC appreciate the support they received from somali people in South Galkacyo- Mudug and Caabudwaaq.

Maybe for a short time , and then he left SSDF , when realized that SSDF is a jabhad build on qabyaalaad and hatred toward other somalis, Col Tamaad discovered 30 years ago that no one can trust SSDF Pirates. but most SSC people just find out the same thing that it is difficult to trust and work with SSDF pirates. In 1980s, Faroole was working for Somali Government while secretly sympathizing with SSDF Clan militia.

Don't worry Quark, If you or someone like you leads Puntland, there will be no problem between SSC and Puntland (Mudug,Nugaal and Bari). The Problem is Warlord Faroole, he should resign or forced to step down, because he is waging war against SSC people, and creating problems between SSC and MNB (mudug, Nugaal &Bari)
