I dont think it has anything to do with being cheap.. If someone is a gift bringing junkie than hey by all means bring the gifts on.. But if one isn't, Marka what's with the ''fakeness''..
All I'm saying is, he should be himself! He shouldn't feel he HAS TO bring something!.. What is he buying their approval/love?..

I know what you mean about appearing fake if the presents aren't a natural instinct. At the same time people generally conduct themselves in a way that will make them more acceptable to the in-laws, kinda like when you're in an interview or when you're meeting new people that you want to impress. I am not too proud to admit that I will probably attempt to win over my mother in-law's approval So if a bottle of perfume softens her up then why not?
