Somali clans facial features are the best proof against the supposed homogeneity of Somalis. I'm going to describe the major clans (no langaab) physiognomy and how it affects their conduct and virtue.

Clearly of the Caucasoid race, specifically the Semitic branch. Aquiline nose and head shape, jaws are not prognathous. Eyes are well set in head in contrast to Habesh influenced clans such as the Ogaden, who have adopted the bulging eyes of their conquerors. Males are broad-shouldered, exceptionally handsome and physically well-proportioned. Above average in height. Slight, but with noticeable musculature belying their Arabian origin. A truly beautiful people, men in particular.

The Prophet (SAW) mentioned that when he say Prophet Yusuf (AS) in the third heaven on his night journey, he mentioned and said: "It was as though he was given half of all beauty." Al Bukhari

I have come across many a beautiful man in my lifetime, and I am confident in my belief that men are on average, better looking than women. This is evidenced by the existence of transsexuals, etc. many times more attractive than any woman could ever be. Even crossdressers typically look better than women, though this is a disgusting phenomenon which I do not condone.

Unfortunately I haven't observed many Gadabursi in person though from what I hear they're a beautiful Arab-looking people.
