Boycott Western media outlets specially the mainstream propaganda machines.
That is your own opinion

But if he was better enough than you say he would have treated his citizens in a decent manner, I mean pretending to be anti-western and yet invest billions in their country by siphoning out Libyas oil revenues. throwing out wild parties in Europe that costs millions and yet starving the population is an acceptable.

I mean Gadafi has perfected the art of asskissing to the extent that he beleived that he actualy owns even his own people?

I mean I see you being biased and one sided.

Patriot - I try to look at issues like this in broader terms and understand underlying intentions. No Western country (least of all countries running on deficit with staggering unemployment and fiscal crisis) will lobby this hard for intervention, then spend out of their pocket to do what they are doing for "democracy" or to "protect civilian lives." Bullshit. This is about black gold and politics. Libya a month ago was a stable, Muslim country where far more millions lived in peace and earned a living than those who faced opression. These tribes in the East have a history of being lackeys, they were the same people Omar Mukhtaar fought because their clan chiefs were pro-colonialists. No good will come from them. If they have the upper hand, they will slaughter everyone else and be made in to puppet regime like Iraq and Afghanistan, sitting idly while all the oil is siphoned out of the country in broad daylight.

They remind of so many other clan motivated rebel groups including the USC. Trust me when I say this, they are ignorant, unpatriotic and vindictive. Expect no good from this.

This is what is called character assasination.
I mean targetting groups while praising others. Tell me something new that Gadafi has brought?
As I told you he has made Libya weaker, if he was a competent leader he would have ensured at least he shared a small chunk of the US$ 130 Billion he invested in the capitals of the so called colonialists you are talking about.

I mean 42 yrs is more than enough and stop making this dicator sound like the only hope. He was the stumbling blcok for hope. The west new he was incompetent thats why they led him reign the country for 42 yrs in which he only terrorised his citizens .

Aboow, i think u r biased. You can hardly speak of this matter without being unfair. You are anti USA, or Anti West. We both know, USA has nothing to do with Libyas revolt. In fact, the Obama administration has done almost nothing in interfering with them. And you are right, USA will not intervene if if they dont have a capitalist incentive in the matter. Libya offers zero interest to USA. I think you should deeply investigate why u hate western world, or your adoptive usa, while u hold their passport. Its a bit outrageous, and ungrateful.

Patriot - What do you think will happen if this intervention persists? You don't honestly believe all the hogwash about democracy, do you? Libyans are nothing like Tunisians or even Egyptians, they are a highly egalitarian society with ancient tribal system. They will slaughter each other, Gadaffi is the only thing standing between a full fletched civil war. This is reality, not character assasination. True that he's a dictator out of touch with the world around him, but better a dictator and a country still functional - than a complete sham like Iraq. Which do you think is better? A Libya functioning and stable or another Iraq? Ask yourself why isn't the rest of Libya rising up against Gadaffi? Tripoli is relatively peaceful, listen to any news outlet and they'll tell you there's no signs of any instability. Furthermore, what people cheer on Western nations bombing their country's infrastructure? Lackeys.

Basra - There's a difference between hating one's adopted country and hating the adopted country's government, specially in regards to foreign policies. The State department is behind this and its not a secret that its run by a bunch of fascists and Islamophobes, the fact that ass-faced Hillary is spear-heading this whole campaign is a clear indication of the reasons behind what's happening. They all answer to Jewish lobby groups, there's nothing called independent policy making, the Western world is a Jewish bitch and the Jews will take down anyone they think threatens their agenda.

i agree with HB, I've closely observed the situation, they are doing a major ass kiss, but whats worse is, in the beginnign of the uprising, the rebels deliberately murdered a somali student, then they had the nerve of saying he was an African mercenary, i mean something tells me that Allah is with Gaddafi than of the rebels, the rebels are bringing kufaars into their country with open hands, thats thats disgusting  , one thing for sure is i know gaddafi won't go down like this, he already shot down a french military aircraft

1/2 baked its not an issue of democracy nor did I say the west will bring reform into Libya.

For Libya any lackey lack will be the same as in Same shit different @ssholes.

Gadafi is an Asshole and his time is up. I just wish he was in Fukushima a week ago.

But guess what the bastard is in Tripoli.

Also dont bring in "the west" card to justify Gadafis actions it will not add substance to your arguement.
Cos Gadafi is an embodiment of the western powers you abhor.
