It's not just a lobbygroup, why did he choose a lobby firm who's executive hired you years agao? This is a classic example of conflict of interests, you
Joel A. Giambra, the former Erie County executive, is a man-aging director of the lobbying firm, and years ago he hired Mohamed to serve as his minority business coordinator.
Talk about 'paying back'

Wallahi this would cause an uproar if it happened in Europe

duh!!

Cause he has trust and good friendship with his executive that hired him!

It's good to join someone you know than someone you don't know, i mean Farmaajo is trying to restore a bruised country and him asking someone he knows as a lobby is a big plus :ugeek:

Is it ethical? It depends.

1. Was the guy hired based on his connections and were others considered before awarding the contrct?
2. Was it a unilateral decision made by the prime minister or was it made by someone else and how involved was the prime minister in the decision making.

I think what is unethical is not who got the contract but rather the fact that money which could be used elsewhere is being wasted needlessly.
