Who designed it lakiin ? Heck what is wrong with a simple bit of symmetry. As it is now, each side of the building looks like it could be a different building :|

I wouldn't say it's Dubai but  to having ambition.

It looks wonderful. I hate all the electric and vibrate color that they use on buildings in most parts of Somalia. It horrendous, and sometime your can't even look at them. I think this is a huge improvement.

I think you'll find most of the population in garoowe and in puntland in general are preety well off, middle class, decent living standard and not your typical somalis. majority run their own business, work in variety of sectors, and earn good income. This is just a hotel alot of the people actually live in houses that look like this. so am sure they can afford to sleep in this hotel.

No offence to the owners, but walahi somali buildings back home lack any architectural uniqueness... This speudo mediterranean looking all white building is a prime example and white to top it off.. .Some architect there needs a lesson in history and how medieval mediterranean buildings looked like(no whites what so ever) and god someone please do something about the damned power lines and dangling cables. Is the energy company back home private owned or public by government of Puntland?
When will we see automated underground parking in Somalia?
Cajiib rant.... 8-)

PS: This post of mine is by no means a rant against Garowe or Puntland region. I am happy for anyone for progress but this picture is too damned grotesque and as bad as almost all other hotels in Somalia, from Hargaisa to Mogadishu to Bosaso...
