That's great I'm happy for you. Your previous post just made me wonder if you were going to start looking for a husband on SNet.
And thanks for the encouragement but I think I'll pass on the lifestyle change.

Gabdha, waar lee aa iska rabay. And PO is correct I was referring to singlenimo. But this was from a funny article I read, where this Grandmother used to encourage her neice to become "Independent" from Men altogether, a bit too radical. Anywho, long sheeko short, Grandmother said at the end, "It would be useful if we had a man around the house."
Co-dependence all the way.

Yes men are useful for manual labour, taking out the trash, checking under the bonnet, changing tyres, cleaning toilets, carrying heavy stuff, vacuuming, paying for stuff basically they do anything that gets your hands dirty or your muscles tired and of course their existance keeps your bank balance nice and healthy. Thank you Lord

Really BV, cleaning the toilets and vacuuming..no comment

Also with the new generation not learning things such as rewiring cables, changing tyres and putting together complicated furniture I don't think you should expect that either.
Also manual labour seems like a slap in the face. So I think carrying heavy stuff and paying for those heavy stuff is enough

Really? But I thought we were being manly and appreciating all the things men can do for women?

Hey, stop changing the subject
Ok define Manly, you know how I am with words lol. Plus some of those things weren't "Manly": Like cleaning toilets and vacuuming. Really! Did you think that would be manly
I still can't get over cleaning toilets like thats manly or a mans job

I am not changing the subject, you are.
We're talking about how useful men can be to women. The things I mentioned are the things that if a man were to do I would feel that he is a useful person to have. Otherwise tell me what's the point of having a man who can't clean, can't cook, can't fix the car, can't do manual labour...what exactly is this man doing for me that makes my life better or easier?

BV:
What exactly is this man doing for me that makes my life better or easier?
Great question. But a psychiatrist who studied the field for many years said quite simply that:
Women are preprogrammed to feel dependent on men. Even today women may be richer and enjoy all the trappings of success but, deep down in their psyche, they fear they can't survive alone.
These women may be shooting up the career ladder and earning more than the men in their lives, but when it comes to relationships men still hold the trump card.
As an evolutionary psychologist, I study patterns of behaviour dating back to the first human societies, and constantly analyse evidence that demonstrates the key differences which have developed between the sexes since men were hunter-gatherers and women were child bearers.
Females are smaller and weaker than males so, in prehistoric times, women and their offspring were prone to being the victims of predators, and violence.
They needed the support and protection of men who didn't just have brute force but also had social status in the group, either through their sheer physicality or the strength of their personality.
That's why women still look for a mate of higher social standing.
Therefore if a woman had a relationship with a socially dominant male, she would immediately get greater access to resources because her social standing would be elevated, too.
As we shall see, modern surveys consistently show that women today ape those inherent characteristics by looking for partners who are socially dominant and have the respect of their peers, paying close attention to how men interact with, and are treated by, other men.
Game set and match
