Actually the funny thing is that 'Somaliland' is not debt free. it owns billions of dollars to the world bank and the IMF as part of Somalia's original debt, which also are legal responsible for. Even if somaliland was to manage to break away it would still be required to pay half of the debt unless it was forgiven. Lool. The truth is 'Somaliland' is actually accumulating millions of dollars in interest alone as we speak. Again I apologies for spoiling the prade . You kids should learn one two things about the cold world of international politics.

We are talking about debt that the Somaliland government has/has not incurred sxb. Outstanding debt from development projects in the south and weapons purchases of the old government are a different matter that will be resolved in due time.

^^Lowered the taxes, not raised them. read the article again. The actual tax rates went down drastically the article only talks about enforcing the current tax laws.
