In that case I've nothing more to say to him, except that he should bounce off Gedo section.

Who said the South doesn't have mountains? These hills remind me of the Table Mountain in South Africa. Great scene, really

Southern Somalia has a very varied landscape. People think the South is all rivers, I mean sure maybe the jubba valley/shabelle valley are but in Gedo/Bakool/Bay You will find different types of landscapes. Take this picture right here, one would assume it is sool or something just by looking at the landscape.

I am really temped to set up a self sustained farm on the foothills of those mountains, I bet it has a great view of the cosmos. Only fear is potentially unruly locals.

Thats very true. The South is the most geographically most diverse region in Somalia, from rivers, to oceans, deserts, lush forests, plains, you name it. It just needs investment and I am certain the people will lead a very prosperous life cultivating and working in their land.

The scenery is actually breathtaking wallahi. Reminds me of the road between Naivasha and Nukuru in Kenya.
