It actually is. I listened to a rather interesting lecture by Sh. M. Idris about ancient names for Gods that Somalis indoctrined in to their culture and Hobaal (Hubal) is one of them.

Thus why its crucial to be careful of sayings like "Hoobaloow, hoobaloow..." It just might be kufr.

Yeah,just like the name "EEBE" is non-islamic and pre-dates it.there is no such thing as eebe in Quran and Hadith and the use of it is jahaliyah.EEBE doesnt exist but allah SWT exist and he is the supreme power of both worlds.
