well micheal i hope you have no somali blood,otherwise i would have to appologize to you, but ofcourse i can not say all of them are bad,but great majority of them were, would you believe me if i say that growing up i have seen people who either married to italians,or are half-italians (there were a lot of them)all of these women except one who were said married her husband because she was running away from forced marriage had a questionable past, those are the ones that i have seen,and i am not even that old , and i heard tons of stories from my grandfather,who worked in mogadisho 1950's,1960's about women who were married to italians. or even you can read this book by somali woman 'aman
she talks how her friends were married to italians, and they were prostitutes.personally i do not like the book, but it gives you an explanation why these women chose to marry outsider. plus
it is common sense dear, how would respectable somali lady back in somalia will meet italian and why would she marry him and choose him over her family.again i am just stating the facts.

Nope, no Somali. But I hear ya, you make some valid points. In my mind, though, when I visualize an Italian man with a Somali woman, I just assume they met in Italy. Never looked at it from the other side before. Good point.
