They both succk. MN has the worst weather in America. I would take San Diego over both myself too even though I have never been there.

according to weather, Wisconsin, Boston and Chicago have worst weather than Minneapolis.
San Diego or California have Earth Quakes, Tsunamis, other places in the South have Hurricances and Tornadoes. Nobody dies in Snow weather, but hundreds die in Tornadoes and Hurricanes every year.

Columbus, Ohio is a great city. It is also a center of many great cities: Cincinnati, Dayton, Toledo, Indiannapolis, IN; Detroit, MI; Ann Arbor, MI; Pittsburgh, PA; Charleston, WV. Chicago is 6-hour drive from here, Washington, DC is 6.5-hour drive from here. Many companies are building their headquarters in Dublin, OH, which is a suburb in Columbus, OH. The cost of living is manageble here and houses are very cheap here. Most importantly, the Somali name is not destroyed here but actually is one of the immigrants highly favoured due to the progress that the Somali youth and community made and their attendance in higher academic institutions. The Somali community here is fairly new in Columbus, probably less than 8 years here, but it is the only place where you will find countless Somalis studying in medical degrees. Finally, we have the 2nd largest university in the USA-- the OSU.

Cheaper cost of living, good schools, less traffic - Columbus, Ohio is a great place to be.

We have many people that have never been to Cbus Ohio and always negatively talking about the city and the people. Alhamdulilah...people here respect us. I'm someone oo dadka kale aad u dhexgasha. People here, non-Somalis, know without a doubt that we are very hard working...whether it be attending universities, opening up businesses, and organizing community events...we don't have as much or even close to the amount of youngsters in prisons in MN iskaba daa wax kale.


Aside from the Somali perspective, Columbus is a fast growing city...there will be a Casino, an international airport, so many companies have their headquarters here and many more will follow, ohhhh the restuarants, since its a very diverse city...you seriously don't want to mention the great ethnic restaurants here plus well known American restaurants...I was asking a friend's friend a week ago if MN has Stake N shake and he was like "steak what?" lmao! Our universities are great academically and sports wise....you can't compete with that. Ohio State university is respected even by Ivy League universities wallahi. We are the home of the BUCKEYES, of course---Scarlet and gray baby!!!! Politically we are important to the nation as a whole!!!! Economically we are stable!!!! We have several high schools in Ohio that are recognized in the nation...to name one---Westervile South High school for their outstanding academic excellence (I'm a teacher-to-be, I know this!!!).


I gotta admit two things though...MN people know how to have fun and the cadaans there aren't as racist as the ones here! However, we still do what we do best...own the city with xaraan!!! N of course..to much fun will get you behind in life---MEANING Reer Ohio will get ahead in the education fields, politically, and economically best believe that


Oh and Udun...when you said Somalis that have been here only lived here no more than 8 years...isn't that a bit exaggeration bro? My family been living here for almost 15 years...and there r tons of other families that came before us!!! What I think you mean are the recent arrivers!
