Eastern Oromo: Somalis
Northeastern Oromo: Afar
Western Oromo: Nilotics
Southwestern Oromo: Omotics
Oromos = fake ethnic group, but just a bunch of oppressed tribes by Borana overlords.

Oromo is not only blood! those who accepted the law of Oromos become oromos;
exactly the same way old ugly arab sheekhs marrying beautiful Cushitic Dir women became somali (at least their descendants)

dude, you don't know nothing about oromo. they are the only people i could confidently say they are worse than Somalis.
oromo's are the worst people on earth. they are the largest ethnic group in Ethiopia and they never held the top office and you know why? because they are not united and are always spying on each other.
oromo's hate each other more than Somalis hate each other.

Mckus, your theory has some holes, as half Oromos has nthg to do with Boranas; we r Bareento.(Arsii, Walloo and Hararge r Bareento no link with Boranas other than being Oromo8-) )
Its true we incorporated many neighbouring people! I have some oromo friends who from the 8th generation upwards has somali names in their genealogy

Let us not insult Oromo, a large part of whom are our Muslim and cultural brothers.
It is ironic that the same Wallo that Bareento tries to claim are the most die-hard Ethiopians, pro-Habesha than even Amharas alive. Bareento ethnicity means mute if you share nothing in common. Somalis can kill each other in Somalia but if two Somalis meet in Berlin, they are brothers and same. An Arsi and Wallo Oromo are not.

Wallo is the name of a region too.
There lives along the Oromos the purest Amharas.
Please do not be confuse them with Wallo Oromos.
Oromos are very much attached to each other, and help each other;
we were overwhelmed a century ago and we lost our unity for a while
PS Oromo never claims any clan or tribe, but if a tribe or clan claims oromo, oromo never reject them publicly! thats theway our ancestors acted
