the other day ma friend showed me a video in youtube..a dude with no legs and arms and he was giving speech about how not to give up in lyfe and enjoy it ...may be u can show her that video and she might change her mind....Alhamdulillah 3la ne3matel-Islam

She is currently on modified duties and doesn't even really do that much.
To start with she should quit her job or take a leave of absence.

Sxb there's people within the community who are sick and believe that they need to kill themselves and some have gone through and killed themselves. We cannot call them non-Muslims; we should make dua for them to become better.
As for your friend Nabeela, you should show her videos of people who are in far worse predicaments and are appreciating the value of life. As Archerr mentioned, your friend may begin to value her life by taking time off work. I commend you for actually being on their side in their time of need.
May Allah help those within our ummah who are suffering from depression and mental illness. Ameen

Did she say how she was going to do it? If someone told me they wanted to kill themselves that would be my first question.
