The same guy's whose Foreign Minister praised the Amxaro capturing Muqdisho I have issues with Puntland but the topic for the moment is Somaliland whose beef with Konfuuria is a puzzle. Rer Puntland and Konfur have been in conflict for hundreds of years. But what is Somaliland's beef with Konfuur ? Its like Djibouti hating on NFD

What is behind the deep hate for Konfur among the Northerners ? I find it ridiculous how history has been reinvented to make a HG like me whose kin fought to topple Siyaad and freeing Somaliland as a result an enemy yet embracing a Gababursi or Dhulabahante NSS as a friend.

Abdi its very simple, even though there are allot of reer konfur that support our independance the thruth is that the majority of hawiye side with darood on this issue and are anti -somaliland...

Hatred is met with hatred,, and since the new generation has never experienced life in konfuristan, they are extremely xenophic towards all konfurians...

There is not the same level of animosity towards Issaqs among Hawiye people as the Issaq have towards Hawiye. A lot of Hawiye who went to Somaliland (Issaq areas)before the 2008 attacks left soon after that due to the harassment and general xenophobia. The same can not be said about the Gadabursi who do not have animosity against Southerners.

Sadly, antiKonfurism is a pillar of the Somaliland ideology and its gotten to a point beyond reason. It is no longer about what you stand for but what you are not and putting down the Konfurians is another block of the ideology.

Do Somalilanders not realize if it was not for the Central Konfurians that AS would be knocking at their doors ? I am all for teaching history but not distorting it or reinventing events.

Its because isaaq are very attached to somaliland, and they rightly percieve that majority of hawiye are against somaliland.
Im sorry to say this but Somalia is not a brotherly country but is seen as an enemy, you belong to that country and by default youo are an enemy..
Inshallah this will be something of the past when we get recognized and are no longer threatened.....

and as for AS do you mean alshabaab??
what do you mean i hope you do no mean that alshabaab is a threat to somaliland.

Alshaabab hs a tiny fringe element in somaliland mostly isaaq and they are in hiding and are not active because they do not have public support..

i hope you do not have any strange fantasies about alshabaab driving all the way to the north and conquering all..

did somaliland invite Amxaro to Moqdisho? NO. did somaliland tortured and deported helpless regugees out of qabyalad and nacayb? NO. Well, other regions of your country did all of that, you should be calling them haters not somaliland. i dont remember somaliland foreign minister praising invation of moqdisho, even if he said so, what counts is what we physically did for you not what we said. we did sincerely help your helpless shacab. you should be thankful for that not insult us.
