so if people don't agree with you then they want somalia to remain in chaos? what is this "somalia" you speak of anyways and can you even name one thing that farmaajo has done for "somalia"?
1st can you give me a good reason why one should celebrate for his resignation?

2nd the guy was only few months in office although judging his performances so far, he already did better job
than those before him.

3rd so many pple protesting for him, that speaks for itself.

it is our hope that his resignation and the changes in cabinet will cause a shift in the position the tfg has taken towards puntland. the tfg is supposed to represent all of somalia and they receive funds on behalf of somalia, so it is only fair that the tfg give every region in somalia their fair share of the pie.

what has he done for somalia? you have yet to mention one thing

the protests are more about sakiin and the power he now has ( i think he is the most powerful speaker of parliament in the world now ) and who the next PM will be. when there are mass protests from zeila to ras kamboni you will have a point, but the protests are confined to the usual suspects.

How is this a good news?

This is tragic.

Farmaajo is the most capable man in TFG and the two sakiins can't accomplish in 20 years what this man had in 6 months.

Guul Famajo  He is Somalia's best hope

i will ask you the same question i asked sheekh-zero.. what has farmaajo done for "somalia"?

this is great news for PL and all the other regional states because farmaajo and his government were anti-federalism.

let me get this straight, You oppose him just because he is "anti-federalism" and that doesn't benefit Puntland in anyway?

I don't think this is good new for Puntland at all because Puntland is independent from Transitional Federal Government and what is going in southern Somalia doesn't have much effect on Puntland. Having said that, the issue of Federalism should be nogotiated when TFG brings peace to much of the southern regions and is in a position where they can deal with both Puntland and Somaliland.

Farmaajo has done a lot of Southern Somalis. Majority of Somalis are united regardless of what tribe they are from because they see this man as competent, hard working and honest man who will take southern Somalia into a new direction. He is a man of the people and that can't be denied. I was just listening to VAO and it was mind boggling to me how many people support him.

We all know that so long as Mogadishu and southern regions are in tormoil the rest of the coutry is not going to move on despite their relative peace.

well put. farmaajo has something special, that no other politician has in the entire somali peninsula support from tribes other then his own...the shariifs are anti-somalia they are bunch of cows that cant see anything further then there shadow reaches...this man has created something beautiful which is unity amongst us somalis...

on behalf of all harti-puntland and loyal supporters of tottenham we support mr farmaajo, and he is welcome anyday to sort out the mess in gaalkacyo and bring cabudwaaq in to puntland...marexaan are a valuable part of darood...

Don't get confused by the demonstrations. I remember the day farmaajo was appointed, people in Mogadishu demonstrated for him. This tells you who's pulling the strings...

you have to understand one thing; you can not support the current tfg and support puntland at the same time. they are two opposing ideas. the tfg wants to run/control the entire country from mogadishu and puntland wants power-sharing so are you anti or pro federalism?

puntland is a state within somalia and the tfg claims to be the governing body of somalia, so puntland is NOT independent from the tfg. the current tfg wants to accumulate $$$ on behalf of somalia and then keep that money within mogadishu and we can not let that happen again. every state within somalia deserves their fair share of the pie and puntland will not sit on the sidelines and hope and pray the tfg changes its stance. we will not isolate ourselves like somaliland.

of course farmaajo has supporters, but it would be a lie to say he has supporters from every district in somalia. his supporters are the usual suspects. you still have not mentioned anything farmaajo has done for "somalia". i'm sorry but having supporters is not an accomplishment.
