Even the idea of quraan sar has been abused by Soomaalis today. Especialy those in the west who are involved in all sorts of haram who ask for quraan saar without having the intention to make changes themselves. The amount of people who go for quraans saar not just once but countless times is the prove that something doesn't quiet add up. Yes the holy Qur'an is very powerful and can heal people but when those very same people lack patient and expect to have their problem removed with the same speed as a tv remote control with no intentions to change their ways is there any wonder why the Qur'an is been turned into somthing that is just a mean to an end.

Ishu wey jirta and it is mentioned in the qur'an but whats even more dangerous is shakiga badaan. If, as muslims we are adhering to the Islamic teaching as prescribed to us, performing our daily prayers then am sure there would be less of all this paranoia and we wouldnt need to turn to healers seeking answers from unholy sources.

Observing prayers and reading Qur'an daily is all one need to keep isha iyo shakiga at bay.

Can a man harm his beautiful wife with the “evil eye”?

I have a question about ayn. If a man were to say to his wife that she looks beautiful should he always say mashaa’Allaah, or is this excessive?

To answer the question i would have to say no. A man is allowed to appreciate his wife and if she is really beautiful and he just can't help but to mention it why would that harm the wife? Beside i though ishu usually is about other people and not so much from a wife or a husband; unless he/she is just pure evil, but then what would i know.

May Allah protect us from such evil.

As a kid back home i remember this lady who use to wok for us that just collapse one day and started to speak with a deep manly voice. I remember as couple of people including my aunt, sat on a bed as she lay there, talking to her, or what ever that was inside. I remember vividly as they asked questions and got replies as to why "they"(the voices inside) were doing what they were doing because they werent really pleased with women as she neglected them as of late.

I think Somalis misunderstand the concept of Jin and Isha, back home 90% of problems such as mental illness, karma etc is blamed on jinni iyo il.
