Twist,
Did you read what I wrote? Or is your comprehension weak?

You and 934 should perhaps go to school and learn; a) how to read b) how to respond c) make a case. I have stated what I have observed and what many people have observed. Ayan Hersi could have been nothing if there were no the likes of you amidst our society; people who jump to conclusions without reasoning; the fatwa wielding , partime islamists.

Meru, she is overrated; it is sometimes easy to conclude that " partime islamists" and the likes of Ayan are in the same league. Unfortunately, our community has been brainwashed by wahabism which does not render people the right to reason.

Just look at the responses from Twist and934. It says alot about the evils of our society.

Armstrong; and your argument is??? The usage of the word "whore" by you is an indication of your brain age. Don't respond to this kind of thread because you might be bullied  since you lack the mental capacity, the language assets to participate

Hi Executive; what makes you write those words? No, I am not a multi-nicker and I am not another student of Ayan Hirsi. Read my stance on her; she would have been nothing if we don't have brainless people like you who jump into calling people names. Had it not been the fatwa-loving people (read; your sort of people) who do not measure their words, then she would have been nothing.

Grandpakhalif, I bet you are living in a secular nation so there secularism is not a bad thing. It is the seperation of state and religion. Tell me any nation on earth that is worth the name and has religious institutions?

Some somalis think secularism is the same as not having the right to freedom which is of course a false notion.

Let me ask you this; do you think Ayan would have been anything had it not been the fatwas?

And do you sincerely believe that the clothing worn by somali women and the discourse of somali men (Allah said) is an expression of religion?

My whole point is that islam is turned into a religion of fashion and sweet talk by our people.

Warta,
I guess your mother and grandmothers in Warta and Ceel gaal wore the Hijaab before the onset of the wahabis! This is a new invention alien to somali culture. Your womenfolk never wore this silly garmet; they were muslims before who wore somali clothes.

Anyone who dares to tell the truth is dubbed as Ayaan Hersi (read what I think of her in this thread). That is the Moryaan islamist way and you epitomise this stance.

A classic case of " we have become muslims after the demise of somalia".

Now, tell us Mr. Warta would you rather in live in a secular state and get welfare or would you go back to somalia and risk your hands shopped off? considering your culture of stealing, the wahabis will cut your hands.

Meru, since Somalis are linked to ancient Egyptians, we used to dress the same way that early Egyptians used to dress.
