i think the main problem is that when somalis got independence they were not politically mature enough to be left on their own..i think italians should have stayed until 1990

Tribalism is the main curse; it has made us into not wanting to work (we expect to get everything by using the false tribal lineage).

Imagine a nation that does not ask the question of how much things costs;
imagine a nation that has fled somalia and live in the diaspora. The diaspora somalis who mainly live on social security, begging (in various forms) acts and behave as if they were born with silverspoons. They drive expensive cars but don't have a license; their womenfolk have loads of gold and expensive dresses even though they are at the lowest human strata; the males wear expensive suits although they can hardly tie a tie.

Worst of all;

all somalis want to become a political leader!

All their daily talks are concern romour milling.

we have to put it mildly become accustomed to a culture of deceit, begging, welfare abusers, armchair politicians and lazy.

We should perish from the face of the earth but with the current birth rates in the diaspora this will not happen.

I was talking to a 70 year old retired Tanzanian former official at the Ministry of Finance, a Harvard Graduate (on vacation to visit his kid's) he was talking about how Somalis look alike, share the same language, religion & how they can't get along & love to kill, fight & destroy and how they were one of the best countries in Africa. he said he thinks Somalis are cursed.. an educated open minded man i enjoyed talking to him about different subjects. :up: (from his job to wife, kids, history, politics, languages & so on lol)

We have to admit it; we are a laibility to the human race! We have institutionalised corruption, become passive and wahabism.

We let things slide (corruption, murder, robbery, rape etc) if everyone was held accountable for everything they do we would be good.

Babygirl,
What we need is a cultural revolution; we need to abandon the culture of partime wahabism, corruption, tribalism and warlordism.

why?
Because wahabism is alien to islam as practicsed by somalis and many other nations/peoples. In addition, tribalism, corruption and warlordism are most often given blessings by wahabism; they are good at citing quranic verses to make sure we remain in bondage.

Look around you; chances are that you live in the west. Judging by what you see, do you think we can sustain a nation?

You can be Wahabi, Sufi or whatever you want but don't force others to believe what you want & start a war that will only destroy the people, Wahabism wiped out the Warlords in the south so i don't believe they support warlords. but yh Somalis are just like other ppl and can work together if they want to, what do we have against each other nothing! every person should be allowed to practice what they believe freedom of religion, & everyone should follow the constitution & laws of the country and anybody who Breaks them should be sent to Jail. LAW & ORDER.

Hutu,

Aydiid was by far Ethiopia's finest product, a hero if you would since he managed to destroy Somalia for them. Forward to 2007, another hero by the name of Geedi concludes Ethiopia's long sought after dream. I'm sure it was a dream come true for many Ethiopian's when their flag flew high above the Somali capital.

Everyone from Nur Adde, Sheikh Sharif to Siilaanyo had their cup of tea with Zenawi... hopefully you can see pass clan x.

:lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: @ you criticizing anyone for being amxaaro adoons. Remind us who was the man in the early 80s who sought help from the Ethiopians? And who was the man who called upon the amxaaro for help in 2006?

Shaydaanka aka Cabdullahi Yusuf

His vision? To destroy Somalia.

May God curse him and those who support him.

Why are you criticizing him for seeking Ethiopian help in the 80's. Didn't you support other groups getting aid from foreigners to overthrow MSB then?
