Re: Late Night Heavy Meals.
I face a big dilemma regarding late night meals. I sleep best when I have a massive meal before bed, I mean I literally sleep like a baby and struggle to get up for work / salat etc. Sleep never feels so good. But a heavy meal the night before usually means I'm sick for most of the next day, like I feel to vomit looking at my work screen and can only manage to drink water as I leave work the next day at 5/6 ish.

I went back home and I have really messed up my eating habits big time I normally used to eat dinner around 6pm
and go to bed around 10pm but now since coming back I'm stuffing myself eating everything that can be eaten
into the late hours right b4 bed:/
I'm doing better now because the first few nights I actually got up @4am to make scrambled eggs
so its big improvement frm that to having ice_cream_oreo or cereal around say 10ish...lol
Loved our food back home/ it was so good to just eat whatever knowing that you burn calories 'cause u sweat even sitting down
lol so hot when I was there no air_condition or anything, plus men still prefer curvier girls lol I was told quite few times that
all I needed was a little bit of meat on me now that was nice to hear! 'cause here i'm always measuring my self sigh

Re: Late Night Heavy Meals.
During uni semester I used to eat my dinner when I came home and that was always late, so that meant eating rice/spaghetti @ 9pm/10pm or even 11pm. Not a good habit
I prefer the eating schedule back home: early breakfast (7am); early lunch (dhuhr time) then a nap till asr; casho (after maghrib)

Shiiiiiit, I can never get my to open my eyes at 7(unless I work)... I scheduled my classes around my sleep and work lool.Cumar-Labasuul wrote:I prefer the eating schedule back home: early breakfast (7am); early lunch (dhuhr time) then a nap till asr; casho (after maghrib)
The eating schedule back home is pretty healthy, it's also similar to prison eating times. Breakfast at 6, lunch at 12, dinner at 4!

SK, yeah 7 is too early back if you change your sleeping time pattern you can wake up, plus back home people wake up with the crow of the rooster (sunrise) no lie
For me the time I roughly wake up depends on the time I slept (max I sleep is 8 hrs) so say I slept 12 I probably wake up 8 at the latest.
BTW, how do you know the prison eating schedule
jk

I keep a coupla killas around me when I move!
Why are you guys so shocked that I know these things? Does one have to go to prison numerous of times to know the times of eating?
Cumar Wallahi I'd hate myself if I woke up to mooooooooooo and cocka doodle doooooooo!!!! The alarm alone is annoying let alone roosters and cows crying.

Re: Late Night Heavy Meals.
Lmao at the replies. I know it's not healthy but I gotta satasfy my hunger or else I would punch the wall or something, it's crazy hunger walahi
Right now I am fixing myself a huge plate of sabaayad and beef+vegetables (broccoli, carrots, spinach, cilantro etc) and I curse who ever bought the danish butter cookies, I already ate half the box walahi
The crazy thing is I dont even gain weight and I havent hit the gym in a while.
My stomach is weird, I can eat pretty much anything and it just takes it in, breaks it down use whatever protein and just quietly let's it move on.

I have this problem too, plus weird cravings at ungodly hours...last night I was eating fried chicken with sabaayad, water melon and chocolate chip cookies at like 2:00am. Unhealthiness never tasted so good though.

I don't get people who have love affairs with their food. Eat when you're hungry, sleep comes before food. 2 simple rules that never let you down
