There are more Jareerweyn and even Bantu concentrated in Bosaso then anywhere else on earth outside of their traditional towns in southern Somalia. Disappointingly for Marexaan actually, I do not see Marexaan ever giving up hegemony over Kismaayo. While personally I am more in favor of investing heavily in Gedo/Caabudwaaq etc. and being content with being a major player in Kismaayo, that is not the view of most Marexaans. While Marexaans are pretty disunited and disorganized as of late, one thing every Marexaan on the face of the planet is united in is that Kismaayo is sacred Marexaan land and they will die for it


Wallahi I do not see MJ, OG, Gaaljecel, Bajuun or even a combination of all ever challenging MR's in Kismaayo. The only orginized clan militia in the region is Marexaan and thats just a fact.

I was honestly thinking the same, I mean alot of the comments I see are straight up backward, specially for Somalis in the west to still be thinking like that, as if it's the 13th century...lol... And there is not enough water, and we all trying to fight over one watering well or something, feed our camels lol

We had a 20 year war to not be at that point any longer otherwise it's back to square one guys, lol, and it's not gonna be pretty more blood shed and world wide shame.

Some cities in Somalia are multiclan, I.e Muqdisho, Hargeisa, Bosaso, Gaalkacyo, Kismaayo, and Beletweyne, and ironically it's those very cities that seem to be growing and doing well, aside from the ones currently with conflict and political turmoil.

So I see it really ignorant and hateful when any ONE clan tries to claim for themselves a city that is shared by multiple clans, as if the rest of the clans are not really there, as if their houses, business and stories are invisible: that is really disrespectful, unislamic, inhumane, selfish, arrogance and plain IgNooorant.

Such a city will seize to exist and self destruct i.e. Muqdisho is a goooood example.
