It would cool if we were on terms like that but when my neighbors moved in, they hardly ever gave me an eye contact let a lone said anything, but now its like, they feel the need to constantly knock on my door. I don't mind giving them simple stuff, but it gets annoying, and also I think they should stop sending a three yr old to do their arons. Who know's that child might end up getting kidnapped one of these days, I'm thinking of calling child services on their ass if this shit continues.

I wouldn't mind if it was a parent or an older sibling knocking on the door, Who said anything about them being AA, these are Somali that speak some weird Af Oromo or Swahili can't never pin point what it is, the mother has 9 kids and her husband just left her, I try to help out every once in a while, from what I hear she's got all her kids knocking on ppls doors, which is not cool, and her oldest is 14. worse part about it, I'm pretty sure she makes over a grand in foodstamps but I think she exchanges it for cash, that's the only explanation I think of.

I have one neighbour across the street who modifies cars in his garage, works on it all day, then revs his cars at night . The happiest day was when he sold his s2000 to some Asians, not knowing he took out the exhaust pipe. Next day bought an Impreza and won't stop revving it at 3am argh

my upstairs neighbors are heffalumps. I kid you not, its constantly stomp stomp. its only a mother and her 17 year old daughter. sometimes, I could hear them fighting, running around and slamming doors. it's all beginning to drive me crazy. My question is how do I approach her about it? I am thinking of complaining to the management but don't really want them to get eviction notice. I guess, since the holly ramadan is around the corner, I have to be nice.

Damn, ur passive.... I say if you pay rent for ur place, u deserve to have a peace of mind. No Ifs, Ands or Buts about that. It's not like they're your relatives or something. You dont have to tolerate their bullshit. I mean, If you like them or feel sorry for them', or whatever... warn them by knocking on their door and tell them to pipe down. Tell them u can hear EVERY thing they are saying too, for an added bonus of paranoia.

If that doesn't work, they obviously dont give a shit about u, or respect you, so call mgmnt on them. If that doesnt work, call the cops.

Guys, thank you all for the wonderful replies..No right minded person would take kindly to an anonymous note.... And I'd be well inclined to verbally stripping down any person who thought they were above entering a discourse with me about anything. It's not 'brave' to make your qualms personally known to others, it's the only ethical option, howeva, this lady is a poor somali single mother woman, who knows my family. I really don't want to offend her at all by knocking on her door and confronting her about the situation or reporting her. I spoke with my mom about the issue i am having with her, and my mom asked me to leave it to her instead of doing something about the situation. Thank god, i slept better last night and am hoping it stays that way. Other wise, she will leave me no other choice but to be ugly and do what can be done.
