Hawass has long rejected DNA testing on Egyptian mummies by foreign experts, and only recently allowed such projects on condition they be done exclusively by Egyptians.

Ancient Egyptian History extends over three thousand year time intervalle, and we know egypt was invaded by people outside Africa.
So it cant be excluded that some of them are mixed with these people!

I can't believe no one has picked up on the serious flaw in this article. Note the quoted passage above, see anything wrong? The claim of the article is based exclusively on SCREENSHOTS from Discovery Channel documentary. There is no peer-reviewed study quoted anywhere in the article. In fact, the article is misleading because when scientists make claims or discoveries they publish them in peer-reviewed academic journals.
