Also this low IQ beenale creature (aptly named) is just The Patriot's other nickname and should be not taken seriously.
I agree with you that we deeply depend on those aid dollars, but ur downplay of diaspora role in these tough times is unwarrnated
I’m not trying to downplay anything. I’m just making sure people realize that this drought is a huge catastrophe that hasn’t been matched in severity in the past six decades, and that we need substancial help from the outside world to overcome it. People of little understanding, such as beenale, are here day and night spreading their propaganda one day claiming the drought is none existent and the creation of Western aid agencies, and the other day claiming that there isn’t enough help because the aid agencies are stealing the money and an assortment of other unfounded allegations. They are trolls and should be ignored.

"The Somali community have been generous in sending and supporting their family members — immediate family members — but now trying to reach out beyond that to people who don't have relatives outside Somalia," he said. "This is legitimate organizations. This is how we want to see it happen."

Fundraising efforts are springing up. Somali youth held a car wash at a Somali mall in Minneapolis on Saturday. The airport cab drivers have formed a "drought committee" and are planning their own car wash.

Another Minnesota aid group, Feed My Starving Children, has delivered 270,000 meals to southern Somalia, according to spokesman Mark Crea. He said the agency is working on logistics for a second shipment containing thousands of more instant meals for its local partners in Somalia to distribute."

Thank goodness the US government has now decided starving people are not terrorists! This Minnesota group is trying to work directly with Somalis in Mog.

Go read up on the Haiti International Aid scam. And go read up on the Australia millions missing "aid money". There are tons of examples where aid money has just disappeared into thin air.

But why am I feeding a troll. :?

I haven't seen those Beenale comments, but anyone who asserts the famine is non_existent is obviously dead wrong and is either gullible or uninformed. However,I have no doubt in mind that in the midst of this catastrophe there are dozens of small, unknown charities that are there for their own agenda;anything from raising funds for phony aid to stealing children and converting the hungry to Christianity.we all know a thing or two about what happened in Haiti last time.

Thats all I have been saying in the last week or so. I know the drought and famine is real. But anyone who believes these cadaan people are sincere are in for a big shock. These "charities" have their own agendas and they should be exposed.

Ok thank you detective Sherlock. You've definitely exposed them all right, with your unsupported forum rants. I'll be sure to stop donating to the charities now.
