Harti's first wife was nicknamed " Majerteen " ,his first son was called Muhammed Harti... So Muhammed Harti CAN be called Majerteen. ( Habar Majerteen Bah)
Unless you're looking for the burial site of oday Harti :|
Oh that's correct, I messed up. It was his mother that was called Majerteen. If I recall correctly Warsangeli and Muhammed Harti had the same mother while the other Harti (like Dhulbahante and Dashishe) had different mothers?

Yeah ,Warsangeli ,Dashishle and MJ are "Habar Majerteen or Habar Udbo Lacag " and Dhulbahante ,Libangashe iyo Kaskiqabbe are the younger bah. There were also two or three sisters I believe.

^Your right Muhammad was Harti Hantaale Amlaale and Fadumo Ceelaanyo Majerteen first born. As it's known to most Somalis it isn't unusual for a child to be nicknamed when the father wife's more then one wife. I'm just glad Muhammad was nicknamed after a popular Dir Chief by the name of Majerteen, his mom's grandfather. The fact that Muhammad's descendants are called Majerteen today is a clear indication that the name stuck with him alone even after Fadumo gave birth to his siblings.

As for where Majerteen is buried, I'm told he is buried in Elayum, an old ancient coastal city in Sanaag that is home to numerous archaeological sites and historic buildings. Other ancient structures that can be seen in and around the city include burial cairns (taalo), which are said to belong to earlier civilizations. It's also said to be an early local hub of Islam with and immigration from the Near East.

I asked an older relative and he claims that his grave is on the foothills of the Ogo Mountains between the Sanaag and Bari border. Close to where the Wabeneye currently live descendants of his oldest son. Don't know how accurate this is.

Actualy Fadumo was his first wife he married (Dumaal) after her first husband Absame died & she had daughters at first, He married Majerten a She had sons at first (Majerten-Warsangeli & Dashishe) & the first wife had sons Later on...(Dhulbahante, Kaskiqabe, Liban-Gashe & Gesigule) Dhulos & Dashishe are the same Age! & Aslo are Half brothers of the Absame crew! (Jidwaaq, Aweyteen, Baalcaad Ogadeen (youngest absame means Ogaada)) Absame himself is the son of the Daughter of Sade.

Mahamed Harti must be buried in Sanaag all the Elders of the Daroods are buried there..
