They snuck the pictures as they were existing/leaving and the other pictures appear to be from a real estate website.

I read this story yesterday and I came to the following conclusions;

1. The daily mail is an anti-migration racist tabloid
2. somalis love to be photographed. If it were other societies then they would have fled when approached
3. Somalis have become passive welfare earners

Yeah whats with the Somalis in UK and their welfare, is finding a job there that bleak?? I mean I would assume its a makrooh thing if you would just take money from the government even though you could work, correct?

Ahmed, unfortunately our people have become prisoners in a welfare system made for others.

The backlash on immigrants in Europe is mainly targeted at somalis. Even the children of TFG ministers, warlords and the rest of these scums are on welfare.

What is worse is that many of them dress in an islamic way and the somali clerics do not produce a fatwa against cheating welfare system (some of them are involved).

I agree with you. Islamic scholars should also tell mothers to take care of their families at home instead of filling the masjid for taraweeh. The PROPHET SCW tell Mothers to take care of their families than wandering. I saw the night of the riots in Ealing london mother taking her 3 children all under 12 taking them to Masjid 2miles away.

The Daily Mail I suppose is our print version of Fox.

Without a shred of doubt there is xenophobia in Europe based on race and creed. Somalis fit into that. We have a responsibility as somalis to ensure that we do not abuse the systems that gave us the freedoms we enjoy.

In my humble opinion there are some somalis (some would argue a majority) that fit the streotypical somali.

All over the west the picture of the somali man and woman has come to be represented by welfare (social security) earners.

I am outraged at the lack of debate among somalis; the religious guy, the old mothers and fathers and almost everyone is silent about this cancer.

Even our religious leaders are involved in diffusing this cancer; those who live in the west don't speak about, they cheat the system,; those who come to preach have lied on their visas.

Forget the civil war, al-sheydhan etc, this normenculture will lead to our demise.

I have to say this thou. Many Somalis do actually work laakiin the woman will claim she is unmarried and single mum to get caydh but in reality she is married and her husband is working 60 hours a week for them. Why cheat the system if the man works full time?

Or these fools divorcing their wives. If you claim to have divorced your wife publicly, you've also effectively divorced according to the Deen. Point of Marriage is that EVERYONE in your community knows that you and your significant other are bonded through marriage.
