^ Alot of the people back home are extremely tanned.. Bring them to the west and they'll lighten by a few shades.

Plus both pictures posted are really dark in my eyes..

Tanned or not west, somalis are naturally dark skinned - it's just that the cold in europe/america has been kind to our skins (along with some help from a certain diana).

It depends on what you classify as dark..

Most Somalis *from what I've seen, here and back home* aint as dark as the two pictures posted.. Dont get me wrong they are pretty dark.. But they have a tint of red to their darkness.. Like the two fella below..

Somalis are pretty diverse in skin tone, and I don't think it has anything to do with qabiil or anything like that.

Somalis in Somalia are mostly tanned, as a result you see a lot of dark skinned and the in betweens.

Somalis can vary from really dark skinned [like the pic above] to really extreme light skinned who wouldn't look out of place in an Arab country.

We go from one extreme to another in terms of skin tone. Really dark to really light.

I think Somalis that live in the interior cities back home or in the west are lighter. And those that live in the coastal-areas are darker.

I dont know.. But walahi I know for a fact most Somalis aint that colour.. Them guys aint even that colour themselves.. Hardship lead them to look like that.. If they stayed indoors they wouldn't be that dark..

But still what point are you trying to make.. I can easily find a group of light or brown skinned Somalis and than what....

Adigu what you're claiming is every Somali is that dark and the ones that aint *which is most* have used diana to lighten up.. Like serious..

Like alot of people have already claimed.. Somalis range from very dark to very light.. But most are dark mariin.. Like the pictures I've posted..
