Wallahi I know what u mean I believe him I dont know if it's naivety but the way he explains it makes total sense.
That's why I don't even bother explaining to ppl I let them listen to it and make up their own minds. For me thu the sheikh is right.
I think i will do the same and not bother trying to put into words what brother Nomand failed to understand.
Thanks Xalimofarax
Nomand..
Yes i do believe that gog and magog have been released.
brother learn your religion!!! dont listen to some sheikh with wild theories walaahi this can lead to bad things. the majority of the uluma believe that gog and magog have not been released yet. does this sheikh have knowledge that all the other uluma dont have? sxb as a muslim brother i am just giving you an advice. beware of sheikhs with wild theories.

Well at least his explanations hold water, unlike the ones back home that use to say that gog and magog are two huge man with chains on their feet. And don't even say you haven't heard of such explanation of gog and magog. And how many Ulima do you know of that openly quote the hadith that warns us about the Christians and the Jews?
What seem like wild theory to you is sound explanation to my ears. No other so-called ulima tackles the topics this sheikh lectures on and most of them wouldnt have the heart to speak about it. I can perfectly understand why most people will not believe it and deny the explanation of the sheikh. It is too much to take on. Just the idea unnerves most people and might even make some question their own faith.
Looking at the world we are living in and whats going on i for one have no issue with such explanation on Gog and Magog.

Another unnecessary Qabiil talk injected in a nice topic. U would think Somalis will still talk abt Qabiil on judgement day. ‘Say what he went first that aint right cos his Qabiil X.

Loved his tour down here it was about "The Theory of Evolution and The Fact of Creation"
On a side note though, a local and respected sheik of ours recommended his works on rebutting Atheism but hinted at us (without explicitly stating it) not to read his books on Aqeeda).

Dr zakir Naik and sheikh yusuf qardawi, even sh boqol soon suffer similar fates. All three do excellent work but i have seen Big shuyuq having reservation about their work or bits of what they preach. but it hasn't put me off from learning from the extensive knowledge.
