I still hold out hope that some patriotic Puntlander will coup Faroole and stop the death-spiral.

A collapse of Puntland is in noone's interest (well except for Shabaab), it would actually be the worst thing to happen to ASWJ and Galmudug, since Shabaab would be the clear winners from a Puntland collapse and ASWJ would be completely surrounded.

It is also not in somalilands interest..
What if the harti form a real unified state, unlike the current Majerteeniya Sultanate in all but name..

This will be a defeat...

Keeping Puntland alive and faroole or another cadde muse in power is the best thing for us until recognition.
