when have MJs ever claimed PL for themselves when countless of subclans are parrt of it???1nemansquad wrote:Globetrotter, so you are the same cat; good that you kept your name unlike so many here![]()
Sxb, i still don't do controversies; i don't do threads at all, i think this one about the Sayid discussion is the only thread i've done in this year all together. This place went down hill so bad for a long time (years) I didn't even feel the need to contribute or visit.
Your accurate about my background and family but no so accurate in regards to me being for lalaland, assume you mean Puntland; I don't have a approving attitude towards any of these lands, quite the contrary really
Puntlands (individuals of the Majeerteen clan) claim it to be theirs just like other Somalis tribes claim parts of Somalia so i only assumed you were of the same conviction since i recall you being Majeerten yourself
Somalis seek refuge in Puntland

Re: Somalis seek refuge in Puntland

Re: Somalis seek refuge in Puntland
One man squad. I see. Sayid Mohamed Abdille Hassan was a somali hero; so were others whose names perished for one reason or another. He supercedes modern day warlordism culture that has engulfed our people. It is unfortunate that some people view him through tribal lenses. It is also silly not to admit that they are numerous other somalis who sacrificed their lives for the freedom that is eluding us. There are numerous people who have also fought but did not get due coverage; So, those who claim that the sayid was hyped due to tribal reasons have a point too. The Sayid names is dragged into the mud mainly by people who use his name in blasphemous manners; a good example is the puntland tribal militia that goes by the name of "Daraawishta". Simply put Sayid Mohamed was a somali hero and every good somali will admit that.
About my tribe;
Numerous characters on this website have based on my convictions placed me into various tribes; I have been called a hawiye, isaaq, samaroon, dir, and majerteen. I am simply a somali. Even if I am one of those according to this primitive classification, you will be the first to note that I have disowned by "tribe". Tribal thinking and the whole notion of identifying yourself with a particular tribe is about bondage; you become a slave to a thought process that is dependent on tribal thinking; it limits your ability to think as an individual.
Please keep up the good work.

Globetrotter, i concur with all that you've said brah
damu, i did not say other harti tribes are not inherently present in that region what I said was Majeerteen claim Puntland to be their own on a larger scale, I'm uncertain if we are going to acknowledge that today

Those people speaking in that video are so ugly, probably some are Bantu.
They'll end up being shipped to Arabia anyway.

Re: Somalis seek refuge in Puntland
4 million people = over 50% of the population? There are less than 8 million Somalis in Somalia?
