And Yh I believe Hargeisa is big Somali standards but not as big as Mogadisho.. & never believe somalis & their claims about the Population of their regions because they lie...

Xamar is bigger than Hargeysa a bit but not that much though i guarantee you that in the next 3 to 5 years Hargeysa will be the largest Somali city

The streadstarter sounds surprised. It is clear that burco in 2004 was far larger than kismaayo and it has only grown since. only a hanful of cities hargeisa mog. boosaso and beledweyne are larger than b.urco today and boosaaso and beledweyne not by much. galkacayo is far less densely populated than burco giving burco the edge.

Don't embarass yourself. Burco is not one district of Kismaayo. Kismaayo once you zoom seems to be one of the mo st densley populated cities in Somalia. Kulahaa "not a lot of houses".

today former major cities like kismayo and baydhabo are small in comparison

I dont know when you last checked the satelite images but its true. hargeisa alone is larger than boosaaso galkacayo kismaayo baidoa and others put together.

Kismaayo is one of the most densely packed Somali cities I have ever seen on google maps and a large part of the town is composed of multi-story buildings. No offense but even in pictures, Burco resembles an expanded slum.
