This is BS... If this actually happened it didn't happen the way presented in this article. IF this is true it could be that woman has having affair while being married or she didn't divorce correctly and was married with two men at same time.

There's also the big question did this whole thing even take place? It's well known that war against Islamic groups is fought by most resourceful nations on earth and they are spending billions upon billions just on propaganda and darkening the reputation of these groups so any news concerning any Islamic anti-western group should be taken with a pinch of salt until confirmed. And this goes with the "reliable" and famous big news companies like BBC and CNN, so what about some small Somali news company that is on top of that openly against Al-Shabaab and supports their opponents, how objective can they be? Somali news have published dozens articles of lies against Al-Shabaab, like rajabeeto-check, sambuusa-ban etc, so overall they don't have much credibility left concerning this subject anyway...

Then about stoning in general... I hope you guys know that this is a part of Islamic penalty code and will be unchangeable until the Last Day. It's bloody and horrific, but the crime of adultery is in the eyes of Allah more horrific than this punishment for it, because you could say that this is one of most severe punishments under Islamic law. Problem is not in the law but it's in us... We are too westernized and brainwashed to think that this twisted system we are living in is the norm and those systems different from it are barbaric and unfair, but that's not acceptable excuse. In west girlfriend/boyfriend is totally normal as is zina, so majority of maryooley youth living in these countries are also affected by this and don't view these acts with the seriousness they deserve. Zina destroys families, lives of spouses and children, corrupts society in general, zaani can bring home diseases and infect his miskiina-wife etc... This is one of the worst crimes a person could do. Stoning is also mercy for the one punished, because that will be recompense for that crime and on yawmal qiyaama there's not another punishment for it and in comparison punishment in aakhira is unimaginably more horrific and lasting than very mild and brief punishment in earth...

Seems that many here don't even know the story behind those pictures of the man being stoned to death, but they are condemning the act as a barbaric anyway by definition... Prophet scws stoned people, like his followers also and it's part of Islam... Better to do some serious contemplation and remember that Islam and Allah don't need us, but we need them more than we need food and water...
