^^^ Some have already found things that are valueable such as Emeralds, Berylliums in the motherland. This is from pictures of some mining done by Inagabayxadi a Oodweyne native and some local boys in Oodweyne a while back. No doubt Samatr can also find more valueable things in the highlands of Sanaag.

Investment doesn't necessarily mean you have to go there to search for minerals leave that job to Yusuf Ali Guray the head of Prime Resources who has drilling rights in the oil blocks of Oodweyne and Sanaag, Yusuf is a Maydh native himself. What we ask from the eastern Somaliland diaspora to start investing in their homelands building new houses, schools, hospitals etc instead of running to Burco and Hargeysa all the time.

Guys, the whole reason why our Camels, Sheeps and Goats in Somalia (North and South) looks better than any other Herds in the World is because, our natural resources have been left alone. Oil, Diamonds, and other valuable Natural Resources keep the land healthy, the trees lively and gives off good nutrients that keep our Camels, Cows, Sheep, Goats look the way they do.

They eat thousands of different types of Trees and the trees are given the nutrients they give off from the Macdan (Natural Resources) inside the group. It's like a circle of life.

Let's leave our Natural Resources and let's use others' Natural Resources like the USA/UK.

Harag
I have way more family in Burco and Hargeisa, but I just happen to have some plots of land in Maydh which I acquired by switching what plot of land I had in Hargeisa with a close relative for the one they had in Maydh(I know Hargeisa property is considered more valuable but I would rather have somewhere to far from any government control and it's more quite but I have never seen it with my own two eyes.)
I am not going to trust another man to handle the resources that may be dwelling under my plot of land, growing up in America has taught me to live like this:

Samatr wa hagaag. Good luck with the resources that might be under your plot of land. Better yet i think you should build a nice looking hotel with air conditioners by the beach in Maydh since many tourists, nearby Sanaagians go there every year to see the beautiful landscape,Sheikh Isaaq's tomb and swimming in the clean unspoiled beaches. Many of them would like to stay overnight instead of going back to Ceerigaabo, i predict you would cash up.

Hotelkan Oo Kale.

I think the idea is that by exploring your natural resources you won't need to walk thousands of miles with sheep to feed fat arabs the meat thereof.

I personally think this list is correct for investment:
Togwajaale
Gabiley
Maydh
Xiis
Berbera
Ceerigaabo
El-Afweyn
Ainabo
Garadag
Badhan
Las anod
las qoray
and more

but the priorities are the Capital of each Gobol

Awdal-Borama needs to be developed

Sanaag-Ceerigaabo needs to be developed

Sool-Las anod needs developed

and the rest add to that list, i don't want the SL gov to do what MSB did , just develop mogadishu.
