Goljano I oppose Somaliland independence because an armed rebel group will not dictate to Somalia on its own terms while holding hostage illegally lands that still pledge loyalty to the blue banner. If your clan wishes to gain independence (and undoubtedly Somaliland is a purely iddor creation) then you will have to crawl to Mogadishu and seek the consent and blessing of the representatives of Somalia on our terms. Then perhaps we’d be willing to hear your case for independence and maybe someday in the future you’re triangular republic can hope to become a glorified pitstop like Djiobuti.
